Statt, wie versprochen, ein zur dunklen Seite der Macht passendes Zitat zu suchen, habe ich mich dazu entschlossen, doch lieber eines der wenigen Liebeslieder Zappas zu zitieren (auf dass Liebe unter uns sei). Er würde wahrscheinlich sagen, dass er viele Liebeslieder geschrieben hat, allerdings gehen da wohl die Interpretationen auseinander. Sagen wir mal so, einige seiner Liebeslieder sind eher körperlich. Dieses nicht. Ist das nicht mal ein schöner Text?

Neben Cruising.... habe ich noch Chunga's Revenge und Burnt Weeny Sandwhich gehört. Chunga's Revenge ist nicht durchgängig mein musikalischer Fall, das Cover der Scheibe ist aber eine der berühmtesten Zappa-Darstellungen.
